This is a beautifully executed picture.

The color scheme's range from top to bottom/bottom to top works nicely either way the viewer decides to read the composition. Speaking of the the composition, various broken down, abstracted shapes within the body of the reaper character read off as upside down triangular forms that collide with the upright triangular shapes of the mountains in the background, making one's eyes flutter up and down the body of the dark focal figure of the subject. What this naturally does is draws attention to the reaper's line work which leads the viewers eyes downwards to the colorful plane which most of the picture takes place. Minor details such as plants varying in size and the rock that leads into the background of the picture give a nice sense of depth along with the two rocks in the foremost corners at the bottom of the picture. It almost feels like one is looking at the reaper from a hidden point, giving the image some atmospheric value. Everything portrayed in this picture compliment each other perfectly.

I really admire your use of texture and small detail, personally. Im a sucker for the small things in pictures like little lines that draw and wave your attention around. For example the dark butterfly at the end of the reaper's scythe works perfectly, as you reach the end of the warmer hued object, a dark detail spans your attention right back to the main subject. This is also seen with the bone sticking out of the ground and the unicorn, similar values attracting each other creating view able relationships within the picture.

Use to texture is very very nice, adds both geometric and organic value to the picture. A final note about the composition is the linear transportation up and down the picture. The trip down is composed of color, relating things with dark hues, taking you down to a colorful space. Where your eyes are then shot right back up this time assisted by shapes. The trees, mountains, and clouds draw your eyes right back to the top, to start all over.

What i like most about this picture is that it runs your eyes in circles, each trip you make you will notice more and more detail.

This picture is damn tasty "OHH!"

You finally finished it! Iv'e been waiting for you to man up and complete this forever now. Looks really great, nice composition. The chains at the top lead my eyes down to the focal point (leviathan) very nicely. And the round shaped nature of of the mines at the bottom keep my eyes from wandering off the canvas and bounce my attention back up to the subject. Really nice attention to detail and awesome style.
