This made my day - thank you! <3

Those are some boobs.
Nice picture, i like how thin the line weight is and the overall figure. But i think the hair's highlights can be a tad more prominent as they sorta blend in too well. But only a little. Also the pose doesnt resonate well with me 100% but that's all picky shit, its a pretty nice picture.

This is great!!! That game is weird as fuck but regardless i dig birds, and this is mighty fancy pixel art.

Thanks so much :3
and I agree, Hatoful is certainly a...unique game.

Im glad to see the addition of a new pixel artist to the portal! This place needs more stuff like this.
I like this picture, the free form nature of your pixel art is interesting and seems more expressively drawn than technically placed. This is a good thing, and conveys atmosphere much more naturally. You do good with organic subject matter which makes me interested in seeing more geometrical stuff in your works. The creature is cute, looks like the pet dog of Dad & Me. Also that sun is interesting. One thing to take into consideration is making the background of your picture a bit more visible. The dithered out blend into the sky gives it a fogged, gloomy feel but a tad more contrast would make it just right. Also the water the creature is treading on isnt very focal and maybe should have had some bedding under it to make it stand out more. The speech bubble is a nice addition and to be completely honest it would be in your interest to make the meat look less like shit. Make it have more of a red hue, or stick a bone through it, just make it not look like a brown lump. Also having a enlarged picture next to the smaller one is a double edged sword. While it gives more of a technical portrait and detail insight, it also takes from the feeling of the picture letting the audience escape the other worldly feeling you are trying to capture them with. All and all i love it, and am happy to see things like this pop up.

This really need to be frontpaged. I love everything about it, the perspective, the expressive strokes, and for the most part, the character. Im currently working on trying to paint and if i can someday make something this cool in the amount of time you did, i'd be a happy person. 5/5

Thanks man, glad you like it! Though one of my pictures actually got featured quite recently on the front page and I don't think they would like to feature the same person too often. Don't worry, practice makes perfect. Just train daily and study your surroundings, other artwork and try to make sense of how they did certain things. I can also suggest this tutorial if you're interested in learning a similar technique to mine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hi_3HymnpXE
Cheers!

This Sucks!!!

Great job man
I love that odd lighting, reminds me of twilight princess/dark souls.
Keep on pumping out these rad arts.

Thanks yo! I'm gonna try. :3

you always make interesting stuff

nice vector work, i love seeing what people can bring to the table with this style.

This is great, but...

I think your style needs some refining. Nothing entirely new just some cleaning up and stuff. I know you struggle with digital art just as much i do, its awkward on for some folk. One thing is the lines, they are a bit choppy and tasteless, i think you can add a little more and a little less here and there. Then the coloring, which i know is the digital majority of the image. It lacks atmosphere, nothing is really drawing all the air of the image to make it feel like its breathing. And lastly, detail is missing in some places it should be. Like the bottom of the support beams for the tracks and minor details in places like the bark of the wood that could have gave it some depth. All in all i like the picture though, i just feel it was a bit rushed even though you chopped away at it for so long which may be the entire issue. But i know your experimenting and that takes some steps like these.

Luxembourg responds:

Yeah, I agree with everything you said. All in all, this piece kind of blows and I really just wanted to be done with it after a certain point. My computer was suffering from lots of power problems and I lost a lot of progress at various points with the painting and I had to keep repainting certain parts and eventually it just made me miserable. I should have spent more time on it, but I just needed to finish it.
Thanks for the feedback, Tre. I'm having a really hard time lately figuring out what to do with my work, stylistically and atmospherically and it's really hurting my art. I'm sorry for taking so long to respond.
